THE VCAN Helpline Is available 24/7
VCan, through its 24/7 helpline, provides food and basic needs relief for families with children and youth under age 25, facing temporary challenges or unexpected emergencies. Clients are encouraged to call or text (386) 999-1888 for immediate assestance. VCan aims to ensure that children or families are provided proper nourishment and other basic needs.
To help our team review requests as quickly as possible, clients should provide:
• Full Name
• Complete Address and City
• Contact Number
• Number of Adults in the Household
• Number of Children in the Household
Please note that we are currently unable to provide delivery services to West Volusia, New Smyrna, or Edgewater areas.
Once the information is received, a member of our team will contact the client to review and finalize the request for assistance.
With the support of partners, volunteers, and dedicated community efforts, FBH Community and VCAN have made significant strides in addressing food insecurity. The statistics below reflect our impact from July 1, 2025 to date and may not reflect the most recent distributions.

Our family is big with eight people living together. It helps our family to be given a Drop The Box each month from Food Brings Hope. I am always anxious to get it and see if my favorite thing, a breakfast bar or what dinner meal is in it.
