The KidsZone After School Program, FBHonors program and Summer Program at Turie T. Small Elementary School services 120 students, Monday – Friday in the after-school program and 60 students, Monday – Thursday in the seven-week summer program. Meals are provided to the students daily.
KidsZone provides academic lessons in Reading, Math, and Science. To complement academics and nurture the whole student, KidsZone offers music, art, technology education, mentoring, organized sports, and STEM. Students in the program are also afforded the opportunity to attend several field trips throughout the school year and summer. Some recent field trips included the Brevard Zoo, a Mainland High School football game, a holiday concert presented by the Daytona Beach College orchestra, an Embry Riddle Aeronautical Univeristy basketball game, and a trip to the Orlando Science Center.
